NOTICE: Seeking Experienced and
Academically Qualified Online
Faculty By
"academically qualified" it is
meant that the faculty member who wishes to teach Associate of Arts
courses has
earned at least a masters degree with
18
graduate credits in the academic field of the courses to be taught for
the College.
To teach Associate of Science courses the faculty member must hold at least a
bachelor’s
degree. If the Associate of Science courses require any certification,
then this
certification must be established by the proper certification
agency. The degrees earned and the courses completed must have been at a
regionally accredited college or university. If the College needs a faculty member with your qualifications, you will be contacted about joining our faculty. You will be requested to submit the documentation listed below. Please have your transcripts sent directly from the accredited colleges or universities that you have attended. We will need a complete list of documentation turned in by you as follows: Documents Needed -
You will be provided a syllabus for each course you wish to teach that has been created for online delivery and which you will be able to modify. If you would like to develop for online delivery any courses that are not currently developed you will need to provide a syllabus using the following format: syllabi format. Redding College uses the Moodle virtual classroom platform; training will be provided in how to create your course in Moodle if you are not familiar with it. Once you have been selected as a faculty member for a particular class, a link to your syllabus will appear from the respective course's listing at this web site. (If more than one faculty member has offered to teach the course, then there will be a link to each professor's syllabus).
